I've got about half an acre of them.

Olive oil, salt, cooked over hardwood. No comparison in the world.

Love them! I have tons growing in my woods but they taste rank here. That roadkill funk they have sometimes when you pick them before they’re washed, the ones on my property taste like that, and the greens are bland.

I used to live in a different state and they were delicious there.

Not sure if it’s my area as a whole because I have only eaten them from my property.

Ramps, right? Yeah, they the shit but tough to find.

Never seen these, are the greens edible?

How do you have ramps to harvest and I’m stuck in a deep freeze??

I intend to make a spirit infusion of them this season, they are like a spring tonic to we hillbillies.

Where do I place my order OP?!

Ooh, I just had some delicious pickled ramps at lunch! They were a Japanese or Korean soy sauce based pickle and absolutely devine.

Overhyped! Because they are only available in spring. It is because ya’ll have never tried Chinese chives that are omnipresent.

Love these. Put them with some butter and pack the cavity of a fresh trout and cook over fire… Quite possibly the best meal ever.

    You’re harvesting ramps already??

I appreciate the proper harvesting of leaving the root in the ground

RAAAAAAAMPS!!!! I can’t WAIT for spring! I forage for them on my property! I always cook them in bacon grease, topped with crumbled freshly cooked bacon, usually served as a side with pinto beans, cornbread, fried chicken, and fried taters.

The general store/restaurant/gas station (which is the only building in my “town” besides a church) serves ramps with their dinners on Sundays when they have them! I usually take them a few bags worth if I have enough to share.

Me, but I only harvest the leaves when I find some. Makes great compound butter!
